Of course the best music comes from the best state. Duh. So listen to it and pass it on friends.

These guys are interesting because they incorporate many different genres yet still make good music. They call themselves newgrass, and I think it fits them perfectly. They are definitely on the rise, being one of the bigger brands to come out of Colorado.  Check out their Facebook, and here they are on Spotify.

Hailing from Colorado Springs, we see a man praise the excellent state that is Colorado. Splyt has played shows all over our state and seems to only be gaining ground. He has many other great songs that you can find on Soundcloud. One song in particular is filmed and stuff by a high school friend (gasp); check out Settle Down below and stay posted on his live shows.

Like the colors of the rainbow, roygbiv embodies many different musical elements. Here we get some downtempo groove time fun. He is also a talented guitar player and has made several appearances at my house to jam; the man got skill.  As a matter of fact, he even has his own Soundcloud page.

This "funky-ass dance music" (as stated on their Facebook) producing band brings some fresh sounds to the Colorado music scene, nay I say the world.  They are no dwarf horse, in fact they have become quite large over the years. They are fun to watch and put on a great show, as you can see above.  Check out their Spotify page, because they have one!

This jam band-esque band from our town of Fort Collins has been growing steadily in the Colorado music scene. Jason Downing (the man with the bad-ass beard) is not only the man playing the most instruments in the band, but also a professor at Colorado State University.  Check out the multi-talented Downing, and his cohorts perform and take note for any updates of their live schedule.
